Fly Five: Getting Started Assessment Suite

WHAT IS FLY FIVE WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE GETTING STARTED ASSESSMENT SUITE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Getting Started Assessment Suite

The Getting Started Assessment Suite (GSAS) was developed along the standards and provides teachers with three formative assessment resources:

  • Social and Emotional Type Inventory (SETI)
Social and emotional learning begins in early childhood and continues throughout adulthood. With this in mind, we created the Social and Emotional Type Inventory (SETI) for adults. Your answers to a series of questions help determine your social and emotional tendency type. This type comes with a full profile that places you in a family and outlines your personal areas of SEL strength and growth.

  • Hopes and Goals Setting Module (HGSM)
After taking the SETI, you can use the clear picture of your social-emotional profile to set SEL goals for your students. Using the HGSM, you can rank the five SEL competencies in order of importance for your specific classroom and plan targeted SEL lessons throughout the year.
  • Classroom SETI (C-SETI)
To learn about our students’ social and emotional competencies and skills, complete the classroom SETI for teachers. Like the SETI, the C-SETI poses questions and your answers provide a complete social-emotional profile for your classroom as a whole.
