Amy Wade

Amy Wade is a school counselor for prekindergarten through second grade at Canandaigua Primary School in Canandaigua, New York, where she has been an integral part of the school community for the past twenty-eight years. She also serves as her district’s  Responsive Classroom trainer as well as a consulting teacher with Center for Responsive Schools and has trained countless educators over the past twenty years in the Responsive Classroom approach. Her favorite thing about working with young children is the joy they find in the simple things—puppets, play, stories, and songs.
