Lisa Dewey Wells

Lisa Dewey Wells is a native of central New York but has called Annapolis, Maryland, home for more than twenty years. She has taught nearly every elementary grade over her almost thirty-year teaching career and is currently a consulting teacher for Center for Responsive Schools and a parenting and education coach. Lisa was lucky enough to teach primarily in a small school that used Responsive Classroom schoolwide and where her now-adult children attended. She witnessed the tremendous impact these practices have, not just as a teacher, but also as a parent.
