Duff Parker and the Downfall of the Dystopiad

Description

Middle schooler Duff Parker has fallen in with a neighborhood gang. After he loses control and seriously hurts his adversary during a fight, Duff makes a break from the gang, losing all his friends in the process. As an escape, he turns to the graphic novel series he finds in his uncle’s room and joins his middle school Sci-Fi Club. As he helps the club prepare for a costume contest at their local comic con, a whole new world opens up for him. But when the old gang comes back to settle a score, Duff must find a way to save the Sci-Fi Club before he loses more than just his reputation.
