Charlotte Stetson joined the board in 2006. She has served on the Board Development Committee and the Nominating Committee, and is currently the Board Secretary.Before retiring, Charlotte was an Early Childhood Educator. She was a teacher of young children for 24 years and then became a professional development consultant, focusing on classroom design, observation, assessment, curriculum, and teacher–child interactions. She is a co-author of Winning Ways to Learn, Observation: The Key to Responsive Teaching, The Coach’s Guide to the Creative Curriculum for Preschool, and Powerful Interactions: Connecting with Children to Extend Their Learning.In retirement, Charlotte enjoys living in Maine, learning to play the cello, and hiking in Acadia National Park.Charlotte holds a BA from Wells College and an MEd in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Lesley College.
