Larry Dieringer
Larry Dieringer joined the board in 2004. He serves on the finance committee. Larry has been executive director of Engaging Schools for over 25 years. Engaging Schools collaborates with districts and schools to create equitable and engaging classrooms and schools that support students’ social, emotional, and academic learning and development. Larry has supported schools across the country on issues including social and emotional learning, restorative and accountable discipline and behavior supports, schoolwide climate and culture, student engagement, continuous school improvement, and systemic reform. Larry began his career as a secondary school social studies teacher and youth wilderness program director. Larry earned a BA from Middlebury College and an Ed.M from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
